Every Friday from 6.30-9pm we do our own beer battered Cod and Chips, Eat-in (£11.50) or take-away (£7.50)
Tuesday 7th July: Quiz Night, which starts at 8.30pm
Wednesday, 8th July: Curry Night. Curry, Rice, Poppadom, Naan, Bhaji and Mango Chutney for £10. Eat in or take-away.
We will be showing the Ashes, which starts on 8th July, when appropriate.
Wednesday, 15th July: Pie Night. One of our delicious pies, veg and a choice of chips, mashed or new, with a pint (or 175ml glass of house wine) for £12.50.
Tuesday, 28th July, Quiz Night form 8.30pm.
“Formerly called the Jug & Bottle back in the 1700s, it still has the same old beams that would crack your skull if it were not for the glitter of horse brasses to catch your attention plus an unusual collection of service badges and the odd coin.” James Scott wrote this in 1987 for the West Sussex Gazette . The beams are still there and the horse brasses and an odd coin, as well as some hidden on a beam, but the service badge collection has gone.
The only pub in the village where locals have met and gossiped for centuries is still a popular venue for villagers and anyone passing through.

JAMMING WITH ALEX (Acoustic) Every Sunday from 8pm. An informal relaxed evening where anyone can join in.
QUIZ NIGHTS Either Music or General Knowledge, about every third Tuesday . At the Music Quiz we raise funds for Chestnut Tree House and at the General Knowlede Quiz we raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
